Terms and conditions

MovieMint Alerts (alerts.moviemintbo.com) is an automated notification service that tracks movie ticket booking availability and emails or messages you when bookings open for your selected movie, theatre, and date.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of MovieMint Alerts. By signing in, setting an alert, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy policy.

What MovieMint Alerts provides

• Showtime tracking: We monitor supported ticketing channels (such as District, with BookMyShow support in progress) for bookable showtimes matching the movie, theatre, show date, and preferred showtime slot you configure.
• Alert notifications: When tickets become available matching your criteria, we attempt to notify you via email, and via Telegram if you have linked your Telegram account in Settings.
• Direct booking links: Alerts include direct links to external ticketing platforms to help you navigate to the booking page quickly.

Not a ticketing or reservation agent

MovieMint Alerts is strictly an alert notification tool. We are not a ticket seller, ticketing agent, or ticket broker.

• We do not sell movie tickets, collect payments for tickets, allocate seats, or hold ticket inventory.
• All ticket bookings, transactions, seat selections, payments, and cancellations take place exclusively on third-party ticketing platforms or cinema exhibitor websites.
• An alert notification does not reserve a seat or guarantee that tickets will still be available when you visit the ticketing platform. Tickets for high-demand shows can sell out quickly once bookings open. We recommend booking promptly upon notification.

Third-party brands and trademarks

We do not own images, brand names, or copyrights belonging to external ticketing platforms, studios, or exhibitors.

• Brand names, logos, service marks, and trade names—including BookMyShow (Bigtree Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.), District (District by Zomato), cinema chain marks (such as PVR INOX, Cinepolis, AMB Cinemas), and movie titles—are the property of their respective owners.
• Our mention of these brands, services, or platforms on MovieMint Alerts is purely nominative, informational, and descriptive. It is used solely to identify the ticketing platform or cinema exhibitor where bookings and showtimes are tracked.
• MovieMint Alerts is an independent product and is not affiliated, endorsed, sponsored, authorized, or partnered with BookMyShow, District, or any cinema exhibitor.

Accounts and eligibility

• You sign in using your Google account. You must be at least 13 years old to use MovieMint Alerts.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all actions taken under your account.
• Free accounts receive three active alert slots. We reserve the right to modify alert allowances, features, or service availability at our discretion.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MovieMint Alerts only for personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• interfere with, overburden, probe, or disrupt the operation of our servers, polling queues, or network infrastructure;
• attempt to circumvent account limits, rate limits, or security controls;
• use automated scrapers, bots, or crawlers to extract data or interact with the service in an unauthorized manner;
• use the service to transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or malicious content.

Availability, speed and latency

We aim to check showtimes frequently and deliver alerts promptly. However, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

• Alert delivery speed depends on multiple external factors, including third-party website responsiveness, network conditions, email provider spam filtering, and Telegram API availability.
• We do not warrant that notifications will be uninterrupted, immediate, error-free, or that external ticketing platforms will remain operational or accessible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MovieMint, its creators, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of opportunities, profits, or data arising out of or related to:

• your use of or inability to use MovieMint Alerts;
• missed ticket purchases, sold-out screenings, or schedule discrepancies;
• any delay, failure, or misdirection in the delivery of an alert;
• any transactions, interactions, or disputes between you and third-party ticketing platforms or cinema exhibitors.

Closing your account

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by going to Settings → Delete account. When you delete your account, your alerts stop immediately, active sessions are ended, and your account details and history are kept for security and abuse prevention as described in our Privacy policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to bypass system limits, or engage in abusive behaviour.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When changes occur, the updated date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of MovieMint Alerts following any update indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
